Chicken Tenders Sandwich
I like Carl's Jr.'s Chicken Tenders and how well they go with honey
mustard sauce; the sauce adds a light sweetness and mustard flavor that
fits in well with the rest of the ingredients. There was enough chicken
to fill out the bun (but chicken tenders tend to vary in size so your
mileage may differ).The lettuce and tomatos were fresh and of good fast food quality.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Honey mustard is an overlooked but
enjoyable twist to the standard chicken filet sandwich and Carl's
chicken tenders are yum. You just have to be careful to grip the
sandwich carefully and adjust for interior shifting. Don't walk while
eating one of these.
The sandwich would have been better served if Carl's Jr. used the sturdier sesame bun instead of the more fragile plain bun.
